What is a fractional ownership?

Fractional ownership is an investment approach in which the cost of the property is split between individual owners. All owners split the use of the property and in turn the maintainence costs.

How do I purchase a share of this property?

It's no different to a normal property purchase. You enter into a standard purchase and sale agreement and have legal title to the property.

Can I sell my ownership?

Yes you can, at any time but you must first offer it to existing owners. If none of the existing owners wish to purchase you are free to sell on the open market.

How many owners will there be?

Eight. Each owner is entitled to 45 days annual use. 15 summer days, 15 winter days and 15 shoulder season days.

What is the cost of the Fractional Ownership

$3.75M New Zealand Dollars

How is the payment made?

15% is payable upon signing the agreement, 35% is payable when the property is "closed in" the balance is payable at completion of the development which is due in early 2024.

Can I rent out my nights?

Yes. Waimarino lodge can rent your unused nights out on your behalf. It is estimated the home will rent for an average of $12,500 per night. If you used the home for 10 nights a year but rented it out for the other 35 you could expect $437,500 in rental income if all nights were rented.

Why would I buy a fractional ownership in this home, why dont I just rent a home when I want to come to Queenstown?

Quality - There are very few homes in Queenstown that offer this quality or outlook. Cost - If you rented out this home for 30 days a year from 20 years at holiday rental rates we estimate you would spend a total $8.64M

can overseas buyer purchase this property?

The property can be sold to New Zealanders, Australian's and Singaporeans.

How do I book my nights use?

Once you purchase you will be given acess to the online booking calender

How are the 45 nights allocated?

You get 15 summer nights / 15 winter nights and 15 shoulder season nights

What ongoing / management costs are there?

Each owner pays $4,615 NZD per month.

Can we get collected from the airport?

Yes, this is included in your management fee along with being returned to the airport. You will also have the all electric Audi SUV to use during your stay.

How does the wine cellar operate?

The wine cellar has 8 diffrent lockable glass cabinets and each owner has their own private access.

Is there place to store private items at the house?

Yes all owners have their own lockable storage unit at the property

What if all eight ownerships aren’t sold?

A minimum of 5 must be sold for the development to start. The developer will simply retain any unsold shares.

Does the house have electric car charging?

Yes

Do unused days carry over?

No - days are allocated on a use it or lose it basis. The 5 spare days are use for property maintainence.

When can I book my dates?

As soon as you have purchased your ownership.

When will the home construction be complete?

Early - Mid 2024
